This is a live recording made at the Free Harmony festival, Somerset, UK in July 2017. The instrument being played is an Aum Guitar*, (actually the first one ever made). The performance was for a yoga session conducted by Blue Edgar to a group of people gathered together in the British countryside for a weekend of arts, music and workshops of all kinds as well and a goodly dose of partying. The recording is as it was played at the time, with no overdubs.
To be Played Quietly
* The Aum Guitar is an original instrument, designed and made by me, Gareth Whittock and it's existence in its current form is the result of a successful Kickstarter campaign launched in 2015.
I would like to give the following supporters my heartfelt gratitude for helping me make the Aum Guitar a reality:
Lyrik, Willie Oteri, Dennis Wong, Stephen Briggs, David Cooper Orton, Piers Titus van der Torren, Sean Collins, Serouj Baghdassarian, Paul Bradley, Steve Smith, Cristian Perugino, Richard Price, Sally Larkin, David Connelly, Lisa Walden, Travis Hartnett, Allan Keen and Bill Van Buren.
I'd also like to thank Sam Evans and Katie Kinnear for organising the wonderful Free Harmony festivals, Blue Edgar for conducting the Yoga sessions and Katie Kinnear and Ben Ward for the use of their photographs, (taken at the Fee Harmony Festivals). Finally, a very special thanks to my partner, Emma Bathsheba White for her constant support and encouragement to me in all my crazy endeavours..
